Program Objectives:

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants should be able to:

• Understand more fully current regulations in the protection of human subjects
• Be familiar with new challenges for protecting subjects related to innovations in medical and behavior research
• Identify strategies to foster inclusiveness of under represented populations during design and recruitment
• Identify strategies to facilitate understanding and gain consent in cross cultural situations and with special populations
