The University has a comprehensive curriculum
of information, instructional materials, workshops, and contacts
to help faculty members meet the challenge of responsible
conduct in research and scholarship. All members of the University
of Minnesota are expected to exemplify the highest standards
of integrity and ethical conduct. |
Education Requirements Questionnaire
|
| |
|
If the core Responsible Conduct of Research curriculum (RCR Parts
1 & 2) or any relevant additional courses (human subjects, animal
subjects or environmental health) have not been completed prior
to the submission of a proposal, an automated reminder email will
be sent from EGMS. This email will not delay submission of the proposal;
it is simply a reminder about the requirements. However, should an award be granted,
funds will not be released until the PI has completed the requirements.
Once a PI's core curriculum has been completed for over a year,
RCR Continuing Education is required, and automated reminder emails
will be sent from EGMS. This email will not delay the submission of proposals, but again, funds will not be released until the PI is up to date on all the
educational requirements. For more information, please contact
us.
Suggested
wording to describe our curriculum to a sponsor as required
in the application (such as National Science Foundation (NSF), Mentored
Clinical Scientist Development Award (K08), and Mentored Patient-Oriented
Research Career Development Award (K23) applications).
