This online workshop is part of the University of Minnesota's Fostering Integrity in Research, Scholarship, and Teaching (FIRST) program. It is one of four online workshops that comprise the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), part 2. Managing research data appropriately and legally is critically important to the work and reputation of the University, and to your work and reputation as a scholar and investigator. This online workshop provides information and guidance to help you fulfill your responsibilities for managing data from qualitative research and investigation. By completing this workshop, you will become familiar with laws, policies and procedures affecting research data management at the University. Case studies are used to illustrate important guidelines you should know. The Research Data Management Online Workshop consists of 6 modules. Each module is available from the Workshop Modules menu at the left on this Home page. Additional resources can be accessed by clicking items in the lower part of the menu. When you are ready to start the Qualitative Research Data Management Workshop, click "Introduction" from the Workshop Modules menu at the left. |
