Questions to Ask

Being assured of data's integrity means having confidence that the data are complete, verified, and remain unaltered. In order to maintain data integrity, keep these questions in mind:

  • How is the integrity of data established and verified?
  • How should record-keeping be managed?
  • What method or method(s) of backing up data should be used and how often?
  • Who is responsible for the integrity of the data and how do team members become aware of best practices and preferred methods?
